How to Make Perfume Last Longer in Dubai Heat

Dubai's heat is hard on fragrance. Strong sun and sweat can make a perfume fade or smell different. These seven habits help any perfume last longer.

1. Spray after a shower

Skin holds scent better when it is clean and slightly moisturised. Apply perfume after you dry off.

2. Use unscented moisturiser first

A thin layer of unscented lotion gives the perfume something to hold on to. Avoid strongly scented lotions, because they compete with your perfume.

3. Spray on pulse points

Wrists, neck, behind the ears and inside the elbows are warm areas that help the scent open up.

4. Do not rub your wrists

Rubbing breaks down the scent faster. Spray and let it dry on its own.

5. Spray from a small distance

Hold the bottle about 15 to 20 cm from your skin. This spreads the scent evenly.

6. Spray your clothes, carefully

Fabric holds scent longer than skin. Test a small hidden area first, because some perfumes can stain light fabrics.

7. Store your perfume properly

Heat and sunlight spoil perfume. Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place, not in a car or on a sunny shelf. Close the cap after every use.

Choosing the right strength

Perfumes labelled parfum or extrait usually last longer than lighter strengths. Ask our team in store which of our fragrances suits your needs.
